s. Fen Bilimleri dersinde kalıcı öğrenmenin gerçekleşmesi, meraklı ve sorgulayan öğrencilerin yetişebilmesi için çok yönlü öğrenme ortamlarından faydalanmak giderek daha önemli hale gelmektedir. Bilimsel yazma etkinlikleri, öğrencilere düşünebilme, düşündüklerini zihninde toparlayıp ifade edebilme aynı zamanda öğrenme süreçlerinde aktif olma fırsatı sunmaktadır. Bu çalışma, bilimsel yazma etkinliklerinin öğrencilerin fen bilimleri dersindeki akademik başarısına, fen bilimleri dersine ve yazmaya yönelik tutumlarına etkisini belirlemek amacıyla tasarlanmıştır. Çalışma Eğitim öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Zeytinburnu ilçesinde bulunan bir ortaokulda 64 öğrenci ile yapılmıştır. Çalışmada kullanılan akademik başarı testi araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanmıştır. Testin iç tutarlık katsayısı KR21= 0,82 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Çalışmanın yapıldığı şubelerden 6A şubesi deney gurubu 6B şubesi kontrol grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Deney grubu olarak belirlenen öğrencilerde 'Bitki ve Hayvanlarda Üreme, Büyüme ve Gelişme' konusunda dersler bilimsel yazma etkinlikleri ile zenginleştirilmiş bir program hazırlanarak işlenmiş, kontrol grubu öğrencilerine ise dersler Milli Eğitim Bakanlığınca hazırlanan ders kitabından yararlanılarak işlenmiştir. Deney grubunun derslerinde bilimsel günlük yazma, röportaj yapma, senaryo ve hikâye yazma gibi farklı türlerde yazma etkinlikleri yer almıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen veriler SPSS programı ile değerlendirilmiştir. Yapılan değerlendirmeler sonucunda fen eğitiminde bilimsel yazma etkinliklerinin akademik başarıya etkisinin olmadığı fakat fen bilimleri dersine ve bilimsel yazmaya yönelik tutumu deney grubu lehine arttırdığı belirlenmiştir. Bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda bilimsel yazma etkinliklerinin fen bilimleri dersinde daha etkin şekilde kullanılmasının derse olan tutumu ve yazmaya olan tutumu arttıracağı söylenebilir. It is becoming increasingly important to make use of multifaceted learning environments in order to enable permanent learning to take place in the science course and to educate curious and questioning students. Scientific writing activities offer students the opportunity to think, to gather and express their thoughts in their minds, and to be active in learning processes. This study is designed to determine the effect of scientific writing activities on students' academic success in science lesson, science lesson and their attitudes towards writing. The study was conducted with 64 students in a secondary school in Zeytinburnu district of Istanbul province in academic year. The academic achievement test used in the study was prepared by the researchers. Internal consistency coefficient of the test was calculated as KR21 = Of the classes in which the study was conducted, Class 6A was designated as the experimental group and class 6B as the control group. In the students determined as the experimental group, the courses on "Reproduction, Growth and Development in Plants and Animals" were prepared and taught with a program enriched with scientific writing activities, and the lessons were taught to the control group students by using the textbook prepared by the Ministry of Education. In the lessons of the experimental group, there were different types of writing activities such as scientific journal writing, interviewing, scenario and story writing. The data obtained from the study were evaluated with the SPSS program. As a result of the evaluations, it was determined that scientific writing activities in science education had no effect on academic achievement, but increased the attitude towards science lesson and scientific writing in favor of the experimental group. In line with these results, it can be said that using scientific writing activities more effectively in science class will increase the attitude towards the course and the attitude towards writing.
