Salad Fingers was conceived as an in-joke [1] when one day, while Firth was playing the guitar, his friend and frequent collaborator Christian Webb commented that he had "salad fingers", referring to the way Firth played the C-chord. A few people related positively to some of their psychotic experiences. After awaking from a daydream, Salad Fingers finds the man lifeless in front of the door, hangs him on a meat hook, and offers him a glass of milk.
