General application guidelines have been listed below for your information. The Scholarship will include:- a University tuition fees payable directly to the University; b College fees, payable directly to the College; c an annual stipend to cover board and lodging and all other incidental expenses the stipend will be payable in three instalments each year, with the first instalment a larger sum to cover initial costs ; d the cost of the UK Immigration Health Surcharge; and e a standard economy class airfare to be reimbursed at cost to the Scholar from the place of residence to the United Kingdom at the beginning of studies, and for the return journey to the place of residence on completion of the Scholarship period. Those who deliberately conceal their funding status will be disqualified and will not be allowed to apply for Chinese Government Scholarships within three years.
