The modal parameter data is combined with the sensor position information to visualize the various bending modes of the wing. In this example, we study the data gathered from a small flexible flying wing aircraft built at the Uninhabited Aerial Vehicle Laboratories, University of Minnesota [1]. This example shows computation of bending modes of a flexible wing aircraft. As a result, a set of modal parameters is generated for each FRF. You can use stabilization diagram to identify stationary modes and extract modal parameters corresponding to the identified physical frequencies.
